Senator Edward Kennedy was rushed to hospital after having a seizure during an Inaugural Luncheon for President Obama on Capitol Hill. He is apparently conscious and it appears he will be alright. Kennedy was diagnosed with brain cancer last year.
Senator Robert Byrd, the onetime Senate Majority Leader, also fell ill during the luncheon although did not need to be taken to a medical facility. The 91-year-old Senator has been using a wheelchair since he fell at his home in February 2008.
I'm not sure either man has much time left.
