Palin Winked; I Blinked

A lot of talk about Sarah Palin and her winking.

I have to admit that I did not see it. I must have blinked.

Or I was probably pacing in my living room and into the kitchen. I do that sometimes. Although I had the TV on sometimes I concentrate more on listening to what is said than actually viewing what is right in front of me. While one might be more in tune with the substance of their message or the cadence of their voice you inevitably miss things and I missed her winking.

The lesson here is that one must keep both one's ears and eyes open.

Or as Sarah Palin so wisely put it, "You can't blink."
