Ground Zero Mosque Looking For New Imam

Well, I guess the folks at Park 51 are looking for a new Imam.

Less than a month after being named the news spokesman for the Ground Zero Mosque, Shaykh Abdallah Adhami is out.

Adhami, of course, had replaced Feisal Abdul Rauf as the face of the Ground Zero Mosque. Rauf's statements shortly after September 11, 2001 that U.S. foreign policy was an "accessory" to the attacks and his refusal to condemn Hamas as a terrorist organization irrevocably damaged his credibility.

No reason was given for Adhami's abrupt depature although he had come under fire for his views on homosexuality.

So where exactly are they going to find a gay friendly Imam who denounces Hamas and doesn't blame the 9/11 attacks on U.S. foreign policy?
