Former President Bill Clinton was hospitalized today after experiencing chest pains for the past several days. He subsequently had two stents inserted into his coronary artery. The 63-year-old former President underwent quadruple bypass surgery back in 2004.
Clinton had been busy with earthquake relief efforts in Haiti since last month. He along with former President George W. Bush were asked by President Obama to oversee fundraising. It is said stress may have contributed to this episode. Well, he was confronted by protesters in Haiti the other day who were angry about relief not getting to them quickly enough. That is certainly stressful.
I wish Bill Clinton a full and speedy recovery.
