Girardi a Champ On & Off the Field

Only hours after Yankees manager Joe Girardi held up the World Series trophy he was holding up his hands trying to alert authorities after coming to the aid of a young woman whose car had crashed into a wall on the Cross County Parkway in Westchester County. The woman, Marie Henry of Stratford, Connecticut, walked away from the crash declining medical attention.

Needless to say, Joe Girardi is a champion both on and off the field.
