President Obama appears to be caving into the Left.
Since releasing classified memos on CIA interrogation techniques last week, President Obama has insisted there will be no prosecutions of former Bush Administration officials who wrote the legal opinions nor will there be prosecutions of CIA employees who carried out the interrogations. However, Obama has taken a lot of heat from the Left on this decision and it might be getting to him.
However, when reporters asked him about the matter today he apparently decided it was a question above his paygrade. President Obama now says that is a decision to be left to Attorney General Eric Holder.
Obamas told reporters, "With respect to those who formulated those legal decisions, I would say that is going to be more a decision for the attorney general within the parameter of various laws, and I don't want to prejudge that."
Eric Holder will be on Bush Administration officials and CIA employees like white on rice.
Obama added that Congress might want to take a look into the matter as well.
I guess the buck stops with Obama until he says it doesn't.
