With all the understandable shock and dismay that has accompanied the news of Los Angeles Angels pitcher Nick Adenhart's sudden death it is easy to remember that two other people who were not professional athletes also lost their lives.
Courtney Stewart (who was driving the car and not Adenhart as I wrote here yesterday) was a student at Cal State Fullerton, a member of the cheerleading squad and a member of a sorority. It has been reported that she was dating Adenhart. She was all of 20 years old.
Henry Pearson, a law student at Cal State Fullerton, had his life cut short at 25. Theo Fightmaster, who attended college at Arizona State University with Pearson, wrote some kind words about his friend.
There was one passenger who survived the crash. Jon Wilhite, a one time member of Cal State Fullerton's baseball team, is still in intensive care but is expected to live. Still, the greatest pain he'll endure might not be physical but rather the anguish of losing three of his friends in an instant.

That is very true about the other victims in this very; very sad night for three sets of parents that were all scared by this senseless accident!!! That other driver of the minivan was also 22 yrs & I bet he was always in trouble with the law many times in the past!! He was a TOTAL loser & will be an Old man when & if he ever gets out of prison!!!
THANK YOU
LOVE ALWAYS & FOREVER FOR THE LOST YOUNG SOULS CUT SHORT OF THIER LIFE'S!!!!!
Thank you for your post. I would like to make one correction about Henry. He was a law student at Western State College of Law which is independant of Cal State Fullerton. Thanks again
