Celtics Prevail Over Bulls in Game 7 Without Overtime

The Boston Celtics defeated the Chicago Bulls 109-99 in Game 7 of the NBA Eastern Conference First Round Playoff.

This playoff was better than most NBA Finals.

Five of the games were won on the final basket.

Four of the games went into overtime.

One game went into double overtime.

Game 6 went into triple overtime. The Bulls won that game 128-127 despite 51 points from Ray Allen.

But the Celtics carried on and showed they could win without Kevin Garnett.

Of course, how long they can sustain this pace remains to be seen.

The Celtics have tomorrow off but will start Game 1 of the NBA Eastern Conference Semi-Final against the well rested Orlando Magic on Monday.

Even if the Celtics get past Orlando, I would be honestly shocked if the Celtics repeat as NBA champions. I cannot see anyone in the Eastern Conference get past LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers.
