The Orlando Magic defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers 103-90 in Game 6 of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals to advance to the NBA Finals for the first time since 1995.
LeBron James scored 25 points which was his lowest total of the playoffs. He was outshone by Dwight Howard who scored 40. LeBron left the arena in Orlando with talking to reporters. What could he say? Wait until next year?
LeBron has one year left on his contract with the Cavaliers and one more chance to lead them to a first ever NBA Championship. He is widely expected to sign with the New York Knicks after next season even if the Cavs finally capture the brass ring. New York is still the biggest stage of them all and the Knicks are in need of someone of LeBron's calibre to fill Madison Square Garden. The Knicks have missed the playoffs five years in a row and in seven of the last eight. Not much is expected of the Knicks next season. The Knicks are biding their time.
Meanwhile, the Magic will fly to Los Angeles (on carpets perhaps) to meet the Lakers in the NBA Final which begins Thursday.
One would have to favor Kobe Bryant and the Lakers. But then again the Magic have dispatched with both the Boston Celtics (albeit without Kevin Garnett) and the Cavaliers (with LeBron.)
The Magic did beat the Lakers twice in the regular season.
With that in mind I pick the Magic in seven.

Awesome series by Lebron. One of the more dominating in recent history.
Dwight may have placed himself in the Top 3-4 player in league status with this game and series.
Great match-ups with the Lakers. Should be a fun series.
