Red Wings-Penguins, Part Deux

The Detroit Red Wings and the Pittsburgh Penguins will have a rematch of last year's Stanley Cup beginning Saturday.

The Penguins swept the Carolina Hurricanes in the NHL Eastern Conference Final (thank goodness) while the Red Wings dispatched of the Chicago Blackhawks in five games in the Western Conference Final.

The Red Wings won their encounter last year in six games.

The Penguins led by Sidney Crosby have the makings of a dynasty a la the Edmonton Oilers in the mid to late 1980s.

So I'm picking the Penguins in seven.

As a Devils fan, I have not had the stomach to watch many games since Round One. That said, I am glad that the Red Wings are ahead 2-0 so far in the Finals against Crosby and the rest of the baby-faced, poster-child Penguins!
